Iqaluit Humane Society in Danger of Closing

There is so much need in the world, so much change that we need to collectively create and navigate. Often it can be difficult to know how we can best help or contribute.
Nunavut's only humane society in Iqaluit is in danger of having to close. The building that they are now housed in is infested with mold, and is scheduled for destruction. The charitable organization is dependent on donations day to day, but can not manage this new development alone.
The Iqaluit Humane Society re-homes up to 700 animals per year, a much needed service that benefits both people and the pets as well.
A fundraiser has been launched, and if you have the means and will to help, you may support the Iqaluit Humane Society here.
